The term Curandera refers to a female healer that uses curanderismo healing modalities. A curandera is an initiated woman who heals with nature and the spirt world.
Curanderismo is a holistic approach to healing deeply rooted in indigenous beliefs and traditions and is often passed down through generations. It is widely practiced in Latin American communities and continues to play an important role in healthcare and wellness to restore balance and harmony to the body, mind and spirit.
In a time where certificates are bought on line , Many read books and call themselves experts, some lead retreats and workshops with little knowledge or no experience calling themselves a curandera / Shaman, I can only advice to do your homework before working with any of them. A Curandera / Shaman with integrity will NOT randomly reach out to you offering ANY services, retreats, readings, Tag you on their post for attention, or try to pressure you into buying their courses. Look at their actions and use your intuition and verify if your morals and integrity align with theirs , and then decide if you are good fit to work with them or not.

We love to celebrate life and all the milestones that make life memorable. Our Studio can accommodate small groups for your birthday, bridal shower, mother blesssing, cacao ceremony, and other special days that you would like to celebrate with us. You may add cacao, breathwork, sound healing, yoga and a curanderismo shamanic ceremony to any of your events. Please email us if you would like us to travel to you within the DMV area or need a bigger space.
